"I've ridden Continental 4000 and 4000s for several years and enjoyed them but they seemed to wear rather quickly (i weigh 180 and have had them on several bikes including a Trek Domane). Although great when new, they feel like they loose their grippiness when cornering. Not true with the Vredesteins. These inflate to 145-165 psi, have very low rolling resistance and corner fantastically. I have found them great in the rain and on rougher roads, supplying a surprisingly smooth ride for a high pressure tire. And I haven't had any punctures yet or cuts, surprising since I have ridden them through the winter and normally after a few months my Conti's were badly cut. So I make these a "definitely recommend.""
